Camila Oliveira's journey in music began in the vibrant city of Itu, São Paulo, Brazil, where she immersed herself in music festivals, learning from esteemed musicians that sparked her passion for exploration within the musical realm. Her involvement in community and symphony bands laid the foundation for her rich cultural experiences.

Transitioning to the renowned Conservatório Dramático e Musical Dr. Carlos de Campos de Tatuí, Camila honed her technical skills and delved into international festivals, including a transformative summer in Italy at Accademia Musicale Estiva di Villa Bernocchi on a scholarship. Alongside international flutists like Bulent Evcil and Raffaele Trevisani, she broadened her musical horizons, shaping her as a versatile flutist.

Driven by her passion, she pursued a Bachelor of Music in Performance at Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP) under the mentorship of Savio Araujo, where she discovered her affinity for chamber music. While pursuing her degree, she demonstrated her talent as principal flutist of the Banda Municipal de Cosmópolis.

At Escola Pontuada in Campinas, São Paulo, she mentored students and shared her passion for music. Furthermore, her participation in a project focused on composing arrangements and performing mantras for the DeRose method demonstrated her versatility and dedication to exploring new musical path.

Continuing her musical journey, Camila ventured to Escola Municipal de Música de São Paulo (EMMSP), where she flourished under the guidance of conductor Dario Sotelo and flute teacher José Ananias, leading to her pursuit of a master’s degree in the United States.

Camila holds a Master’s degree in Music Performance from Portland State University, mentored by Dr. Sydney Carlson. She has engaged in projects intertwining music with community safety initiatives and the promotion of works by female composers.

Oliveira's impact in the music industry transcends performance and education, extending into production and community engagement.

In her role as a production manager with the BREUSIL group, Camila orchestrated collaborations with illustrious figures in the music scene such as Toninho Ferragutti, Neymar Dias, and Ricardo Herz.

Furthermore, Camila's commitment to fostering community connections through music is evident in her role as a creator and producer for "12 Notes to Healing." This initiative, spearheaded by CPSO (Campus Public Safety Office), harnesses the power of music to bridge gaps between the campus community and law enforcement. By organizing musical performances featuring student musicians, accompanied by conversations with CPSO officers, Camila facilitates meaningful interactions aimed at nurturing trust and understanding within the community.

Camila Oliveira, who currently lives in Montreal, Canada, just finished a DEPA (diplôme d'études professionnelles approfondies) at Université de Montréal, marking another important accomplishment in her music education journey. She currently balances responsibilities as a music producer and flute instructor while simultaneously pursuing a license in Body Mapping for Musicians, demonstrating her commitment to holistic musicianship and encouraging health and wellness in the musical community.
